Those looking for underground beats should head to Footwork's new joint Coda in the city. Part of Kool Haus Entertainment Complex, a multiplex of bars and restaurants, there is nothing subtle about INK Entertainment's monumental club.
Big, bold and in your face, production here — balloons, glitter, streamers, visuals, LEDs, the lot — is second-to-none and the beats, brought by the likes of Steve Angello, Afrojack and Eric Prydz during the last 12 months, are also massive.
With several other top-end venues as part of its consortium and a Winter Music Festival in the offing, The Guvernment is taking over.
