Christian Berger

Christian has been a part of the Peruvian house scene since its beginnings. His career began in 2000. He quickly managed to create his own unique personal style, which gave him the opportunity to perform alongside the most renowned world Djs, learning and acquiring experience through them. For the last 6 years he has been present in the most important events and clubs both locally as well as within South America. This has turned him into one of the most experienced and well known Djs in the scene.

Christian is a musician, specializing in Sound Engineering, forms part of the electronic music scene in peru since its beginnings. Starting to dj in the year 2000, he joined Israel Vich forming the duo Vich & Berger in 2001. Starting 2002 he was invited by Frank Amoros to be one of the club “Heaven” resident djs, artists such as a Danny Howells, James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa among others have played in that club. Afterwards, Christian was offered the residency for Orbit Peru’s promotional events. During that time Christian has played in the most important events in Peru and places like Miami, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Quito, Guayaquil have all been captivated by his sound.

He has shared decks with: SASHA, JOHN DIGWEED, DEEP DISH, TIMO MAAS, DANNY HOWELLS, HERNAN CATTANEO, JAMES ZABIELA, LEE BURRIDGE, LOCO DICE, SANDER KLEINENBERG, SATOSHI TOMIIE, ADAM FREELAND, DESYN MASIELLO, JUNKIE XL, STEVE LAWLER, DAVE SEAMAN, JIMMY VAN M, , ANTHONY PAPPA, PHIL THOMPSON (MOONFACE), ROWAN BLADES, NICK WARREN, SLACKER, SEAN CUSICK & DJ THREE (SECOND HAND SATELLITES), MR C, PETE TONG, MEDICINE 8,OMID16B, CHLOE HARRIS, KRIECE, LEXICON AVENUE, PARKS & WILSON, VOYAGER, SEB FONTAINE, QUIVVER, KOSMAS EPSILON, MARTIN GARCIA, SAEED & PALASH, MAZI, TYLER STADIUS, TERRY FRANCIS, PATRICK TURNER among others. His work in the studio along partner Israel Vich had its first release on Rocksteady Records, came out on sale on August 2003, and the second release signed under Institution online. Christian has had numerous sets on the world famous Proton Radio including Featured Artist in solo and along with Israel Vich. The duo broke barrieras to be the first djs from Peru to participate in “Creamfields” festival in Buenos Aires.
